Kylie, my experience was similiar to yours and you stated the situation very well. The only modeling positions I have secured are what I hustled up for myself. I am shy so it is really difficult but applying and applying and applying seem to be the only way. Good article.

seems we both subscribe to the "try, try again" methodology. I think the quote attributed to John Lennon "Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted" is appropriate and oh so true. It's a crowded and competitive biz, but I'm still loving the adventure. :-)
