Ah.. confusion complete. Annika is gone as the author of the last entry. Because of links, the author was changed in all of Siss' (2)  blog entries, so it doesn't make sense any more. Who's Annika? God knows. :)

Because of my newfound addiction to SL, the family's downloading limit for broadband has been exeeded (?) so I can't go inworld at the moment. Everyone is growling at me. Not fun. Slow downloading speeds can create a lot of fun, though. I remember the chaos created by the new version. I got 'stuck' at my then favourite camp site. Over a few nights I witnessed the most fantastic effects, well worthwhile the limbo. I had a conversation with a person who claimed to stand on the same spot as me... and still we couldn't see eachother. I had a ghostly period with the room being full of silent clones of the same av (interpreted as a default of some kind), dancing to non-existent music. That freaked me a bit. Or, when the map showed me downloading in some god-forsaken corner while people could see me somewhere else. Freaky.

The funniest, however, happened when an av I recognised from earlier as a male, popped up as the default female... and he could see the sex change. He was so upset that after some screaming and ranting, he had to log off. He was great fun to tease. We suggsted that since he at least was cute, he should hang around... maybe he would be picked up by some hunk. Didn't go down very well. Feel a bit bad about that. Not until he/she disappeared did I realise that his upset was quite offensive. Why was being a woman so bad he had to log off? I must still have something to learn about gender issues in SL.

Well anyway, while I wait for next month I'm busy looking at upgrading plans for or broadband account and, to your horror, writing these blogs! Tough luck for all of us!
