Anxious wait? No not really. I only entered the competition on the advice of a loved friend, I had no idea I would be shortlisted as I have already said, but like all ladies the fact I have is extremely flattering. I wonder actually what arrangement of features, blog postings, images etc. leads a woman to these dizzy heights, oops must be careful, these pedestals are a long way to fall from, could break my ass as well as my pride if I am not too careful.
A lot of people decry these competitions of feminine display, mainly momen though I have noticed, although why they should I don't know. It doesn't harm them despite the tired old 80-90s feminist cliches, and yes they are still around. I do not judge others for their interests and way of life, beats me why someone would set themselves up to judge mine. Perhaps they are just bored and have nothing better to do.
I think the Miss SL World contest and many others on SL are a fantastic way to help the shy people amongst us build their confidence in themselves. and for that reason alone they do a lot of good. They let the more confident of us who are perhaps not so absoloutely perfectly gorgeous in RL dream a little. and isn't that what SL is all about, realising dreams. Now they have introduced the guys too which is another great step forward for SecondAvatar.com. Go for it guys have fun, preen a bit if you've got it flaunt it, if you haven't change your shape and skin.
