If you are one of those who are looking for a new alternative Second Life viewer to replace the Emerald Viewer, which is no longer a trustworthy viewer, then you might like to check out LordGregGreg Back’s Emergence Viewer. It is basically the Emerald Viewer without the bad stuff in it.

Unfortunately for Mac users, the Emergence Viewer is, currently, only available for Windows. I guess, someone who works on a Mac and knows how and has the resources to compile viewers can always download the source and compile one for other Mac users to use. Read the rest of this entry »

Good Morning Everyone,

 This is a short introduction about me, Gnosis Acanthus.

 I arrived in Seconlife three months ago. I had been interested in joining SL for many years but hadn't the right computer to make it viable and have fun. Now all of that has changed.

I have lived a couple places in SL. Recently I purchased a lot in one of the Costa Rica SIMs and built a Villa. I spend a great deal of time there and love being a resident of Costa Rica.

I'm the COO of the Mabuhay Group. The Mabuhay sponsors commercial development in SL. We look for and support individuals and groups that show a level of quality that will enhance all of our experiences here in SL. Our office is also located in Costa Rica.

Are you still looking for an Easy Way of Making Linden Dollars in Second Life? If you are then you should definitely try-out Earn2Life. Earn2Life offers money-making programs in Second Life that are really easy to do. If you can operate a computer then Earn2Life wouldn’t be a problem for you.

Recently, they have added a new paying program called Pay4Links. It is still in its testing phase but it works just like Pay4Picks. In Pay4Picks, you get paid, a certain amount of Linden Dollars, for placing an advertiser’s Second Life location into your Profile Picks but, in Pay4Links, instead of using your Profile Picks, the advertiser will be using your Profile Description area by literally placing their location link in it.

The screenshot above shows three Pay4Links offers. Each of the offer pays L$5 at the beginning and L$25 at the end of the duration or period indicated which is 1 month for all three offers. Great News! A week after my last Earn2Life Master’s Contest win, I was lucky enough to win it again and the win came at the right time too because I can use that extra L$1,000 to pay for my monthly land rent in Second Life. I’m kinda struggling for L$ (Linden Dollars) now because I haven’t been able to build anything since my regular computer broke down.

If I can’t build then I can’t sell new stuff and if I can’t sell new stuff then I won’t make any L$ (Linden Dollars). Also, without new custom items to catch, the traffic in my in-world shop is greatly reduced. That is why winning another Master’s Contest is a real “second” life saver.
