GIA plans the Accessory Fair 2010. The event will run from March 6th to March 27th at the full sim named "Accessory Fair 2010" and built specifically for the occasion by Babyhoney Bailey. The theme of the fair is set to "Broadway Nights." Over 60 of SL's top accessory designers will be represented. The event is sponsored by SecondNights.com and ShopaholicFeed.com. Contests, hunts, fashion shows and parties are planned to share the fun.

Last night we had a "Sea Plane Fly-In" at Balsa Airport. Everyone brought in seaplanes of every type, small ones, large ones from World War II, and even some helicopters on floats. We watched Trans Sands, a RL flight instructor, demonstrate water landings. It was all quite a sight!

I'm just addicted to SL aviation. Omigosh, there is so much you can do, and so many places to fly--When I started to fly, I just had no idea!

First there are so many kinds of aircraft you can buy. There are extremely detailed models of modern planes and old World War I and World War II planes. Some are complicated to fly, and cater to RL pilots, while others are so simple anyone can fly them.

 A lot of people just getting into flying like to fly helicopters. They are easier to control, because you don't have to land at high speeds and worry so much about "busting" through a sim wall.

 If anyone is interested in hearing more about flying in SL, maybe I can add to this blog and add some images and reports on the latest air races and some of the different aircraft we use.

 It would also be a kind of tribute to Dondy, my dear friend, who has taken a break from SL for a while. I miss her so much!
